Transmission Fluid coming through clutch cable

Transmission Fluid coming through clutch cable
I'm at a loss. I recently bought a 2008 FLHTCU that had 1,309 miles on it. I know, the guy never rode it. Now, a couple months later it has 2,013 miles. and I have transmission fluid coming out of the clutch cable at the adjusting nut. Went to local Harley shop they diagnosed need a new clutch cable.
I changed the cable and the new cable leaks at the same place. The shop offered no ideas.
I have checked the vent and it is clear and the fluid level is correct. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Ride safe.

Found it. I had only checked the vent hose. The vent nipple had been plugged by a dirt dobber. It's a wonder the little bastard didn't fill the entire gear box. Thanks for all the suggestions. Harley had suggested replacing all kinds of things. Remember, "KISS". We seem to always jump to the hard stuff. It is usually an easy solution.
