Default Cable ?

99 ultra f inj 135k just rode it everything was ok. Changed fluids put synthetic 10-30 motor oil in clutch reservoir, went to adjust clutch + it now appears there's no more cable adjustment out, it's like the cable stretched. Hoping for an easy fix I don't want to do or spend any more than necessary. i just wonder if those clutch cables will/do stretch several inches or if the oil would cause that and hoping for nothing more but hassle free riding.

Did you adjust the clutch according to the factory service manual, prior to adjusting the clutch cable?

Yes I think I did it by the manual I'm going to do adjustment all over again. It's possible that I could've done it wrong, I've never been accused of being too smart.
What do you think about clutch cables stretching ? Yea or nay. I know the stretch is not causing my present problem I'm just wondering.

If the cable is actually stretching, it will fail soon...

If you can not adjust the clutch now, and your cable stretched just by changing the primary oil, be sure you adjusting it right, meaning extending the housing, if your out of housing extension then your cable is most likely failing, just as already stated. Had the eyelet at the handle bar brake on mine Friday

Thanks Chuck you're probably rite on. What a bitch to have clutch cable break and be out somewhere. Did your cable get cut by sliding on sharp edges or stretching ? Thanks again for your thoughts.

Well oil should not have made a difference in the adjustment.. Couple things I find is that the cable does not get slacked enough and when screwing in the center adjuster many stop as soon as any resistance is felt.. They need to a feel for what the stop really is. So make sure the cable is slack and run the screw in 1/2 to 1 full turn then start so back it off until it loosens then add the 1/2 to 1 turn looser and lock it down.

After mentioning this, tho.. If you got 135K on the cable and you have the slightest suspicion that it might be the issue, replace.. Might even want to do replace the throttle cables also..
