6-Speed Main Drive Gear O-Ring

Can the main drive gear o-ring (part number 11201) be replaced with the main drive gear still in the transmission case? Is this o-ring accessible if I remove the transmission sprocket?

I wanted to post a (rather late) follow-up.
The answer is no. You can not replace the main drive gear (MDG) o-ring (11201) while the MDG is still in the transmission case.
