78 fxs had aabad stator. Thought it was just the staor.... Rotor had maring inside of it on one side which made sense that the stator went out. Woodruff key holding clutch hub broke and inner primary was ground down on one side.... Replaced what was needed redid my linkage went to put the inner primary on and main shaft doesn't want to spin by hand! So am I looking at a bent main shaft? Which I don't think it is.... Or more likely a misalignment? Which if it is a misalignment how would it get thrown out of wack??? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

its been eons of time since i had my 1974fx and only went into the trans one time to change gear ratio. i do not recall any spacers. i am not visualizing the broken key and wobble since the nut keeps it against the bearing race. a picture is worth a 1000 words. is the tranny in between gears? are you spinning with hub on or off?
you can check run out with dial indicator.
