multiplate wet clutch, they do stick together a little when cold .
If it is ok after warming up then don't worry about it .
All four of my HD,s stick after sitting for awhile. (a little lurch when shifting from neutral to first.)
tip , first shift is to give it a healthy punch when putting in gear , don't ease it. =grind

One thing you can do is start it in gear first thing in the morning.
that will free up the plates,
hopes this helps

As was said, start with checkuing clutch adjustment.
easy to do, just follow sticky under the forum heading.
if your not sure what fluids in the primary you could also change that out as well while you’re in there.
good luck.

I adjusted the clutch on my recently purchased Road King. By the book a couple of times. Would still creep and clutch would not completely disengage.
I wound up replacing the throw out bearing. Problem solved. Great clutch now. If all else fails try that.

Welll, you would get many opinions with a question like that, but I’d keep it simple as you are having issues.
First adjust the clutch at the primary then at the lever and then replace fluid with Harley formula plus.
if things don’t improve maybe time to seek professional help.

Be very careful not to overfill the primary. .don't go by the recommended amount use your eyes to look and make sure the level is correct...wrong amount of oil will cause a lot of headaches

Pull the clutch in and rock the bike back and forth before starting, this will break the clutch plates loose.

you fill it just enough to bring the oil to the bottom of the clutch pack...now the part I can't answer for you is should be on the jiffy stand or standing straight up while doing this. .because I'm pretty sure different bikes have different techniques. Find out that out then fill it just enough ...dont go by the recommended amount because it may be too much and you'll definitely get drag and it will be hard to find neutral too. Maybe someone with a softail will give you some info. Hope thst helps
