Default miss in 3rd gear or surge

Hey i have a SE 2017 road glide with i miss or more or less acts like it jumps a tooth on belt . It only does it in 3rd above half throttle between 3500 and 5000 rpms . I just replaced the rear pulley cushion because of a lot of play in it and now it does this . It doesn't do it in any other gear or if not over half throttle in 3rd . I am thinking maybe compensator but in my experience if that was the problem it usually does it in other gears and throttle positions. Swing arm bearings are tight and put in new wheel bearings . I have also put it on my dyno to see if it was fire or fuel related and it isn't . other than that runs great and no codes .

Check the clutch, neutral switch. On a car, it affects the fuel mixture ratio. Do you have an aftermarket or another form of tuner other than stock?

Change the trans oil and look for chunks or heavy particle build up.

I also thought of that but no bad looking stuff in trans fluid and only does it if above half throttle or closer to 3/4 and above . can run thru same rpms below that throttle and does fine . Even under a load on my Dyno.

If the trans is fine, check the plug wires, maybe the motor mounts flex in 3rd just a bit more causing a wire to wear through and arc out. I’ve seen crazier things happen.

You have a dyno? Can you plot RPM vs speed? That will show up drive train issues.
