Installed used Ultima 6speed over drive in my 06 RG. Clutch won't release

So I have a 06 RG 5speed. Well was. Now has the
ULTIMA speed overdrive gear set installed. Finally. Been a experience. All back togeither. Start her up and release the clutch after adjusting said clutch properly. And it won't release. Think it was a bad cable replaced and opened derby went through the adjustments and still nothing. I think the push rods may be too short now. But not sure.

Over drive in an 06.? Plan on using 5th gear most of the time.
Likely wrong length Rod

I agree with the previous guy. Check you rod legnth. I had to change mine from the one that came in the kit, it wasn't long enough.

Responding like that won`t help you solve your problem, remember...You are the one who needs help.

Install the correct length clutch pushrod.

You will have to get a 1/4" longer Clutch adjusting screw. I believe Jims makes them and Barnet sells them.. I have the part number some where. Give me time to find it.. Your clutch basket is Identical to my 98..
Pull your adjuster screw out and measure it, then post it here so I can get you the right part number..
Re-edited....
805-482-6913 is Jim's phone number
The Jim's partMm number is 204009 it's 2 3/4" long.. You can call Jim's but I think you might have to get it through Barnett clutches..
