Baker Clutch(s)

Has anyone tried either of the Baker clutches? http://www.bakerdrivetrain.com/clutches/index.htmI know I'm gonna need a better solution with my upcoming build & I was considering one of these. If I read correctly, you have the ability to swap gears on the basket w/o swapping the whole basket. "Assuming" the gears don't cost as much as a basket, this seems pretty sweet.I am anticipating 130+ ft/lbs of torque, so that seems to point to the KKK.I am curious is anyone hase used either of these unit and what if any feedback you might have.Good setup?Lever Pull - hard/easy?What fluid?Any fade when hot?

I have not tried it yet, we are direct with them as a dealer but cost wise they are on the pricey side. We use the Primo drop in clutch pack and they rock. Lever pull is light, and they hook and hold with no issues at that level. I have tested the primo in a stock outer basket to 156 tq and after a seaon of riding no issues at all. No we do use the billet outer basket when going to a 3.37 gearing and those have proven to be bullet prove as well.

Thanks, Steve. So you are running the Primo on your Deuce? I'll check them out.

One thing that is intriging about the bakers are the interchangeable gear, although I have no idea how pricey those are.

Go with a primo pro clutch . I have two of them . One behind a 113 in my bagger and one behind a 150+ hp built 124 . They preform perfectly and have light clutch pull . They also give you a choice of springs . For your application the silver will be the best . They are hard to beat ! I sure the baker units is a good unit also .
