Default Putting Mobil 1 Synthetic Gear Lube 75W-90 in primary....

anybody running this in the primary.. thinking about running this in there and trying it out.. think it would be OK????

That gear lube is formulated for the tranny, I wouldn't put it in the primary.

I use the Mobile1 gear lube for the tranny, and the reg Mobile1 syn in the engine and primary.

I don't think is is a very good idea to put gear oil in your primary. I run Mobil Syn 20 -50 in&nbsp\\;mine.

Do not run it in the primary, you could create a slipping clutch problem.

Mobil 1 VTwin is recommended for wet plate clutches. I'd go with what's recommended.

If you want a heavier oil in the primary try redline mt90. It has no moly in it.

Default Mobil 1 75w-90 in primarry

I've got about 5000 miles with mobil 1 75w-90 in primary and tranny . Tranny is quieter in 5th gear and shifts easeyer and smother with no slipping in primary

do I think it is a good idea? - no. not unless you like that grinding sound going into !st gear and you want the bike to creep forward at stop lights with the clutch pulled in. (popped my cherry on the new board with this post )
