I have an 09 superglide and had the stock break in fluid and now have the synthetic fluid and with both it is real hard to get it into neutral..any ideas why this might be?

 

Misadjusted clutch or overfill on the fluid will both do that.

 

well i know the fluid is fine so what can i do to the clutch to make it easier..the handle seems to be adjusted fine so how or what would you do to the inside...thanks

 

Adjust your clutch and maybe the shifter pawl. If that doesn't work take it in and have them check the neutral switch. Also, if you are using 20w50 in the trans some guys report nuetral is easier to get using a 75w90 syn gear oil in the trans.
