Default manual to hydraulic clutch- 4speed

Hello,
I am new to harleys and need some help. I have a 78 lowrider with 4 speed transmission. I am changing the manual clutch to a hydraulic clutch. I purchased a hydraulic clutch cover w/ kicker, it came with the cover and a piston with 2 seals. My old one has the cone shape throwout bearing and the release pushrod has two blunt ends with the tip of one end(throwout bearing end) being smaller diameter than the rod itself.

Question:
Will my current release rod work with hydraulic cover? Do I need any additional parts or does the rod just bottom out on the hydraulic
