Hey guys...I am in the process of removing the clutch hub on my 1988 FXRS...I've watched it been done before,but this is the first time I'm doing it...once I've got it apart to the point where I put the puller on the hub.. with it in gear and applying the rear brake...I just tighten it down until the hub pops off right?...if there is any tips anyone can give to help with the job it would help....thanx

 

You don't have to put it gear or apply brake as you tighten the hub removal tool it should pop maybe alittle heat on the clutch hub only and a light tap with a hammer on the removal tool When you get it off look for cracks around the taper
