Default 20mm BELT AND 1" REAR PULLEY

Would that work ok?

The thing is, I have a FXST 2007, the belt lost some of its teeth and broke all of the other teeth (they are hanging, not lost), the curious thing is the bike has only 20k miles, the pulley has same wearing marks but nothing noticeable. I believe maybe it was a little stone or something or a bad adjustment.

Now, I've got a friend Dyna 2008 pulley (1" - 66T) and belt (1" - 131T). First does somebody know if I can fit the 1" belt in the 2007 FXST? If that works I'll be really glad, because I've never trusted that 20mm belt anyway and now I trust less.

The other option I have is to use my friend pulley (1") and a new 20mm belt, does someone recommend NOT to do this and why?

OBS: Here is really difficult to get a new pulley or a new belt, what I have in hands is a stock new belt for softail (20mm) and a Dyna belt and pulley (1").

Thanks a lot in advance for all of you who may help me.

Gringo
