Default Inner primary off

Ok I have my inner primary off and also have the main trans drive gear off and going to replace all seals !!!
My question is I see a lot of post about replace mainshaft fifth gear seal 12035B !!!!
Where is this seal ???
I have the big seal behind drive gear out, shift shaft, seal out !!
There is a sort of plug to the left of the main trans shaft but that does not look like a seal!!!

12035B is in the end of the main drive gear. It seals the mainshaft where it sticks out of the gear. The plug you are refering to is the bearing for the countershaft.

You say you have the main trans gear off, but I think you mean the front belt pulley...

The main drive gear is the splined shaft that comes out of the trans that the pulley mounts onto.

The mainshaft is the long shaft that passes through the main drive gear. As Doc said, the seal is in the end of the main drive gear and seals the space between these two shafts.

Many people overlook this seal.

In addition to replacing the big seal and the mainshaft seal, I suggest you replace the pulley spacer and the quad seal that is underneath it.

Yes, the inner race must come off.
You then need to clean that shaft really well with super fine emery, as in 2000 grit.
Remove seal with mechanics pick.
Clean bore, blah blah
Tape splines so new seal is not damaged when sliding on.
Lube seal lip.
Use tool to ensure seal is 0.090 below end of gear.
My tip...... Only install that seal when the pulley is installed, and fully torqued.
