Against my better judgement, I took advice to heat the life out of that nut. I hope I didn't wreck anything else. Last night I removed the side and top trans covers. I was surprised at the "mud" under these covers. The left over oil that came out look good but the inside of both covers and the case are coated in this tan colored mud. Normal? I have some thing to do with the family today but at some point the trans. door will be coming off.

That tan colored mud is probably from moisture getting into the transmission.

Split the nut with a die grinder and buy a new one.

Nothing much Dan. Still doing the same stuff except looking forward to retirement in 9 years. Did some of my required online gender training today. How's the Tesla gig?
