I am not sure who builds the tranny, but I can absolutely promise you that JIMS used bronze shift forks in some of their 6-speed conversion kits. I just pulled another one out headed for the scrap-heap. Nothing wrong with the shift forks. It's the trap door bearings that go away. I would not think that about any gear lube would damage a bronze shift fork since it is not under load on a constant basis anyway.
Dan may have been in one and knows for sure, but I am positive JIMS used bronze shift forks in some models. Only way to be sure (unless you know for sure) would be to pop the top cover and look.
