5 Speed to 6 Speed on Road King

5 Speed to 6 Speed on Road King
I have a 2005 Road King with stock 5 speed tranny.
Really want a 6 Speed in it.
I know Baker - RevTech - Jim's all make 6 speed gear sets, but it's not cheap.
Question is I have a chance to buy an 2007 Street Glide 6 Speed gear set. Can it be put in my stock '05 case? Maybe a slight grind on stock case in order to make it fit. Has anyone out there done this or had a trained professional do this for them?
