Default A Ghost Click?

Sometimes, not always, when I'm "up" shifting my 2004 Fat Boy, I hear what I'll call a "Ghost Click" (although I'm sure it is actual) coming from my Tranny.

I'm assuming it is either the Tensioner catching up, or perhaps the Timing Chain "catching up."

Wasn't there a Recall by HD for the Tensioner on some models? Is this something to be concerned about?

In my head, I think "I" am causing this "Ghost click" if I am a bit tenative with the actual "Shifting" motion, because if I'm a bit soft on the movement, I hear it, and then if I am more deliberate in my physical shifting motion, I DON'T hear it. Could be I'm grasping at straws, and imagining my own involvement.

Can someone speak to this "Ghost Click" by giving me a good sound mechanical description of what is likely going on, and what I should be doing to correct it (either by my own functional activity or by mechanical intervention thru repairs).
