Oh look it in pieces!
So my compensator spring is in three pieces. I have a 2009 FLHT - or Electra-Glide Standard. Unfortunately, it looks like the inner primary also has to come out to get the rotor out which is part of the compensator system - no comment on the rocket scientist that designed that.
But what I found interesting and may be a tad frightening is - after I got the primary chain off, I was like a little kid, I spin the clutch pack, cool! I try to spin it backwards - it don't go. I look a little closer and the starter gear is just touch the fly wheel enough to prevent it from turning backwards. I can push the starter gear in and spin it. Bad started? Missing spacers? Suggestions?
