Default Electra Glide reverse gear

I'm researching reverse gears for my '06 UC and I've come across this one made by MMD does anyone have a first hand experience with this kit?I've been looking at the Baker one but I think it's too expensive and too complicated to install compared, for example, to the Champion kit.Spending money on these bikes is a never ending thing, just had the 4" Jackpots installed last week and now this new reverse kit is on top of my wish list!

Thanks,I've been following that thread but apart from a few useful posts there were the usual wise asses replies and no real technical info on the matter.I like the Baker solution with no lever but I think it's too complicated to install and also too expensive for the few times I might be using it.While researching I came across to this MMD kit and wanted to know if somebody had first hand experience with it.

Unfortunately reverse gear doesn't seem to be a common subject in here. I searched on MMD and this is the only thread that came up!

I know it will not fit on HD touring bikes with stock exhaust.

If it helps I can get you 10% HDforums discount and remind you during the "complicated install" I'm only a phone call away. 517-339-3835

Default Reverse for Ultra

Just wondering if you have any updated info on the reverse kit? I have an 2010 Ultra and I am only 5’5”. A reverse kit sounds really good. Please keep us updated.

Thumbs up You wont be sorry

Hi, I have had reverse on other bikes in the past and why HD don't fit them to the Dressers/Tourers I do not know, They are on BMW and Gold Wing and are a blessing. Once you have had one you don't want to be without it. I never had to push either the K1200LT or 1300 wing, Just jump on and go either backwards or forwards. Heaps safer as well.
You have got me thinking I should fit one to the 212 Ultra, Cheers
