Sqeaky when wet
I have a 97 Softail Custom, and I have noticed an odd squeaking noise occurs when riding in the rain or when the bike is wet. It sounds like it's coming from the primary area, but its hard to tell. Once I'm up to speed, I can't hear it over the wind and other noise, but at slow speeds, its definitely noticeable. It does not happen at all unless I'm moving. In dry weather, it never happens. My best guess is that it's coming from the belt where it attaches to the transmission. Anyone else ever heard this before?
