Does anyone have actual experience with this item?

Is it any good, does it work with all saddlebags even the new tapered bags?

I have it and use it on my 2019 sgs which has the stretched saddle bags. It does work. I got it from my dealer they had it listed for half price and the service manager recommended it to me.
