I'm not a vegeterian.

I do believe in killing animals. I eat meat. I hunt deer and animals like squirrel,and rabbit.

Leather coats comes from Cows. Cows are a Big Business in Texas. And I mean in the Billions.

And I like my leather coat . And leather gloves, and leather chaps.

 

I don't believe in animals killing other animals. It's just wrong, and they know it.....
I'm not sure how I feel about carnivorous plants.......

 

I like deer meat, chicken. And steaks. and fish.
Cattle has been raised as well , chicken for food.

Cows are not raised for pets.

This is an old post so you have probably bought a leather jacket, or two, by now.

I have three leather jackets and two vests.

My favorite is my FXRG jacket and use when I tour. Very heavy but I can wear in all conditions. I also have FXRG leather pants and boots. No rain gear with this set up.

I have a mid weight and light weight leather jacket for local rides. I also have a mesh jacket for really hot days.

one vest has an American flag on the back and the other is lined for the days you need it.

Good luck and if you can’t buy new used is a great way to own a top quality jacket at a low price. Just be patient and keep looking.

 

I bought my Harley Davidson brand jacket back in 1999. It was a bit pricey at the time but man, it has been amazing. I've never cleaned it (yes I know I'm a bit lazy), and it looks awesome still. I get a lot of positive comments about it. I've had to replace the zip once about 2 years ago and I just went to some local place for that to be done.

Has anyone on here tried the "REAX Folsom Leather Jacket"?
It is made from buffalo hide, has added protection and a good price on Sale=$279 @ Revzilla (regular $429). How does this compare to the HD Reflective Skull jacket? I have a friend that has one of those for sale for around that same price. So I'm trying to decide between the two. I've got to get something for my wife to get me for Christmas. LOL
