My wife and I love the Keys - even got married at the courthouse at mile marker "0." We rode down in January. If you have never been, have breakfast at Blue Heaven in the Bahamian Village. Try the Lobster Benedict, you won't be sorry.
im leaving sunday morning from milwaukee wi. to key west . ive got a month to get lost. if anyone has any suggestions for stops along the way.
i'd love to hear them. thanks
If you want to get out on the water while you are there, try Seabago Sports "Island Ting." You will find brochures and stands all over the place. It is a six hour trip on a Catamaran that starts with breakfast on board, out to the reef for snorkeling, snacks, guided kayaking tour around a mangrove island, lunch...........it is the best value on the water. My wife and go 1-2 times per year and this is the best deal we have found. Also, the Waverunner tour around the islands is a blast. Leave from the gulf side and take a 26+ mile tour around Key West, hitting the Atlantic, the harbor, etc. We also had plenty of play time on the machines.
I found this old thread and am reviving it. How were your trips screem andkamasutramantra? We are planning to do the Keys next summer. We are coming from Missouri so we will take a while to get there, but we are going to head to the Natchez Trace on the way down and take our time getting there. See the sights!
