Yup.... I would say me and The Pan are l going to get old together..... except we ARE old together....

Man I love that Motorcycle.... I can really see taking her "Into The Wind" on unkown adventures.

I was reading last night that the S&S Super G Carburetor on her is for 100+ Cu In Engines .... I think that is the idling and running problem. The Super E is for 100- Cu In Engines. I will go that way or maybe a 38 mm Mukuni.

With the amount of time I stop in construction zones and for pictures , I need to turn this into a One kick engine, or put an electric start on her

This is way off the tread but I had a 48 pan with an S&S, don't remember the model of carb, if you didn't start it right it was a sob to start, now my life long friend has a 47 knuckle, he put a Mikuni on years ago, it ran and started way better, hot or cold! He now has a Mukuni (I think it's a Mikuni) with a accelerator pump built in I believe. I think he's happy with it too. I can find out more if your interested.. good day sir! 👴🏻

That Super E would sure look sharp on that pan.

Anything Darla oriented is "on thread"... or coffee, food, lol. And this is Darla3. Yes please, if you could get that info please do.

This bike will be built to "Road trip".

***ERROR***

S&S Super -B- ... not Super -G- Hence no Accelerator Pump. Still not the carbb I want. And someone who knows says maybe a reason why she idles poorly and pops and farts is an intake manifold leak. He did say the gas tank, rear fender and maybe the front fender are period correct and HD. As is the foot shift and mousetrap clutch assembly. The heads are after market.

I now have two local sources for Info, and one for excellent repair.
