It will be close to mid October, so all of that will be weather dependent.
Hey Rocky, if your hungry in Pine check out the Buck Snort. A short ride out of town on a dirt road to see an interesting place.

With the fall colours it will be a picture heavy ride. I am thinking about 300 mile days with a rest day every 4 th day. At 5,000 miles that makes for about 21 days front to back. I should be done mid October. With the big mountains in the first 10 days of October. As long as the rain stays away, I should be good in the high ground.

I have never toured the high country this late in the year, so it will make for an interesting trip.

That looks like tons of fun. If temps are dropping there, like they are here (N. IL.) you better have snow tires ready....lol.

Hey Rocky it looks like you're going thru Hollister CA. If so Johnny's is a Great Biker joint with Great Burgers & Beverages! Also road 25 out of Hollister has some VERY rough spots so be careful!
Safe Travels!

I've still got three weeks before my trip to Maggie Valley, North Carolina, and I sure miss you being out there on the road. You've really planted the idea of a cross country trip in my head. I've enjoyed every mile, looking forward to your next trip!
