That was a nice afternoon ride. I was originally going to head up to Kimberly and then around the loop, but the roads up here are still too dusty. So I just went out to Ft Steele and went down towards Bull River and then back to Cranbrook. Not much traffic, but when I got back on the Highway after Wardner I had to pass a couple of Tractor/Trailers, and it got kind of dusty then, so I just pinned it and got out in front real quick.

The temperature was nice, around 45f. I had my electric vest on as well as my grips for most of it.

The cool sweet mountain air was enhanced by the music. A very nice first real ride.

I got in 222 miles today, between noon and 5pm. The best temp I saw was 46F. The sun was out all day, which helped. No heat gear, just long johns, gloves and such. I do have heated grips and they were on 2 all day. I'm so ready for some 60 or 70 degree weather.

Won't be on the road yet but I'm coming your way later in the year. I'll pm you around that time.

Default A long time ago....

..... in a land Far Far away .....

I thought you might get a kick out of this. I was about 21, logged all summer and was a ski bum in the winter. That 55 Chevy truck & Camper was Home all winter. OldenGoldenDays.

And you were gonna leave us.....

Glad you're back behind the camera Rocky. We take for granted down here that our weather is just about year round riding weather.

My crew is headed to the hill country in a couple weeks. We are ready for a change of scenery.

Jory434, I'm headed to the Hill Country myself in a couple of weeks, looks like the weather is going to be really nice. Been about 10 years since my last trip there.
