Need a new tent

So Im in the market for a new tent or hammock anyone have any recommendations for one that is small enough to fit in a touring saddlebag. Looking for probably a 2 person setup, Never camped with a hammock so im not sure how they hold up with the rain.
-thanks

If you can find a 'Sports Authority' near you, I heard they are beginning their biggest closeout/sale ever; prior to going out of business.

I have this one. Mountainsmith Genesee 4.

Works great. Fits in the saddlebag with PLENTY of room to spare. Sets up easy and fast. Says it's a 4 person tent but it's perfect for 2.

I use a REI 1/2 Dome Plus 2 and they are on sale until the 30th

REI Half Dome and the tiny bit smaller brother tent 1/4 dome have been in the top 5 backpacking tents since they came out many yrs ago yr after yr.
hammocks suck. You need two trees close yet far enough apart and minimal back support.

Marmot makes nice products, if you purchase thru REI they have a year return no question.
Catalyst 2P. I have only set this up in our yard but I like it. Need to purchase 4 more stakes to completely anchor. I have used cheep tents long time so looking forward to this one. Much lighter easy in n out, like the vestibule.

I have a Eureka Timberline 4. They also make a 2 man version. I found the 4 person version just about right for 2 people and gear. It sets up quickly. It fits great in the tour pak for sure. I've never tried to put it in the saddlebag.

Another vote for the REI 1/2 dome. Mine has been in heavy prolonged rain numerous times and has never let me down . Water hasn't leaked from the top or seeped in from the bottom . Stays in place in the South Dakota gusts and hail :)

Same one I've had the last 26 years. Also did the 2 man for years before that awesome tents , while the 4 man is a bit big to go in a saddle bag It will handle the nastiest weather and keep you dry plus roomy enough for 2, a double air mattress and your gear.

Eureka Apex 2 here,2 large vestibules, ridden out many heavy rains in this tent and always stayed high and dry. Payed $110 for it 6 yrs ago.
