Back on the road with the new bike. Decided to bypass Arkansas and Oklahoma this time.

When I was riding through Big Sur as it was getting dark I stopped at one of the scenic turnout areas and it had a road going down under the bridge to a lower parking area. I was up on top on the cliff and was hearing what sounded like drum music. Lot of cars started coming and going so I went down to check it out. It was like a hippie commune where people were living down there in their cars and on the rocks five people to a bed. A lot of them were staying in the campground down the road but it was full.

They danced all night in front of colored lights making shadows on the cliff wall.

I only spent the one night there and moved on.

Right before the deer. Stopped to put on my leathers and look at the amazing stars up on Talimena Trail

Winslow Arizona<br/>

 

Lot of rain! Roads were flooded in Flagstaff so I went around by Lake Kaibab instead of the full circle route I had planned. Stayed at Lake Kaibab Campground.

I had a lot of pictures from Grand Canyon South but I did not upload them and lost my phone in Yosemite so I only have the one seen here.

 

Big sand storm and hard rain at Joshua Tree. I blasted on through there.

Lake Havasu..

 

Really nice ride up through the mountains to the beach and it sure beats going through the cities.
