Both sides of Flathead Lake are great rides. All the orchards are on the East side.

Not looking too good for the Sun road being open by the time we get there. Looks like a lot of plowing to be done.

Leaving tomorrow .. anyone got last minute suggestions for travel to Glacier area?

I does not look like the GTS road will be completely open, so I guess we will have to take what we get and enjoy.

Although I have never been in them, my buddy tells me there are some pretty cool Museums in Polson on the South end of Flathead Lake. And the church in St Ignatius has murels that will take your breath away. It is the quietest place I have ever sat. I am sure God spoke to me there, although he did not seem impressed with most of my choices, I got the distinct impression he thought Rebadging the front fenders on Darla was cool....

I didn't read the whole thread so don't know if anybody mention it but don't miss the lodge at the south end of GNP! Lodge is built with massive tree trunks which are part of the structure that border the giant lobby...impressive...have a great time! Ita called Glacier park Lodge in SE corner!
