talk about a road trip !!!!!!

 

I have been on a couple trips where I thought I was hauling that much stuff.....but he wins the prize! Hope he makes it wherever he is headed and then some!

 

No big deal. He can get over all the mountains in Florida.

 

I have toured on a sidecar rig with my entire family. Wife; 2 kids and the dog. All camping gear and only stayed in one motel and cooked almost all meals. But compared to this outfit, I was just a stinkin amateur.

 

Cooter Stew is turtle soup made from a river cooter turtle. Cooters live in the rivers and lakes in Florida. In the sixties I would help my father fish trotlines we set in Lake Munson about 30 miles from where that picture was taken. We typically caught catfish and cooters which we kept, discarding moccasins and eels.

 

So now it makes some since what their T-shirts says on the back, "THE TURTLE ABIDES".

A "cooter" is something different where I come from....
