Default MYRTLE BEACH--Motel Advice needed.

Sometime this summer there will be 4 of us (guys) on 4 bikes looking for 2 Queen bed rooms in a nice, safe, reasonably priced (under $125 per night hopefully) motel for three or four nights.

Doesn't have to be the Ritz but can't be the Bates motel either!

Anyone here stayed in such a place that they could recommend?

We (I) like a pool, bar/restaurant within walking distance, fridge in room and I'm thrilled.

Can't help out to much, going for bike week and sleeping in tents at the state park.

Maybe look into renting a house on airb&b?

There are hundreds of options in MB! North Myrtle is a little "newer", a little less touristy and generally a little pricier. Downtown is the opposite but you can walk to everything you might want to see. Trip Advisor is your friend.

Garden city SC is where we stay on our beach trips. Have a chili dog at Sam's corner and ribs at Greg's bar & grill.

Condo in MB is the way to go...Cheaper for the four of you and way for what its worth quieter and roomier.

Do yourself a favor and stay in the Surfside/Murrells Inlet area. <-- Locals advise.
