Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. If anyone else can chime in I'm all ears. We have stayed at the Golden Nugget a lot and I love Freemont but I've always driven a cage there.

I've had good luck with the Cromwell. It's a little pricy - but a nice spot. They have 24 hr valet and security.

The Luxor kinda sucked. As a Hotel and for motorcycle parking.

The Freemont Hotel [on Freemont...] had secure parking too.

Trump actually has pretty awesome parking, but some may not stay there as per the current Commander in Chief. I'll say this, all that aside - he has a nice hotel in Vegas...

Vdara was good - but I was slapped with a $36 a day parking bill. Now that I think of it the Cromwell does it too.

At the end of the day are you going to Vegas, or are you continuing on after a few beers and giving the Casino some $$$?

My Wife and I got married in Vegas, and we have been a few times. I stored the motorcycle there and flew down a few times over the winter.

Best of Luck!!

I also walked around the area at night and never felt unsafe. You might want to put a cover on the bike. Out of site, out of mind. I also have a big orange disc lock that I put on the right side of the front caliper and leave it exposed when I put the cover on.
I'm thinking that is Ellis Island Casino right in the middle. They make their own beer and have a real pit BBQ and the food is excellent there. I always park my bike in a little spot by the rear entrance/parking garage. Never had any problems there.
Yea there are some poor folks who live in the area but they are more concerned about getting a Big Gulp at the 7-11 and then getting to where they are going than stealing stuff.

I've had great experiences with parking a cycle at the Golden Nugget. They've never charged me to park overnight. There's a cycle section on level 2. You have to enter from 1st St, north of Bridger Ave, right across from the Check-In entrance.

Our favorite hotel is the Rio. We get comped rooms every year. They've got two parking structures, one to the east, right off Flamingo. The other is on the northwest side, enter off Valley View Dr. Both are heavily patrolled by security. Never been charged, never had a problem. They offer a free shuttle to several hotels on the Strip.

We've stayed once at Sam's Town on Boulder Hwy and Nellis. Very reasonable room rates, nice place. They also have a big parking garage. Its only drawback is quite a way off the Strip.

We got one free night at the Stratosphere. It was so-so at best. The Strip side of the building is very nice. You enter the parking garage off W. Bob Stupak Ave. The neighborhood immediately to the west is a complete sh*t-hole. Lots of homeless with shopping carts. I drove that way to get over to Sammy Davis Jr Dr, since you can't access it from Sahara. We're passing up on the Stratosphere from now on.

We've visited the South Point on Las Vegas Bl and Silverado Ranch Dr. Its pretty new, enormous. It advertises in some cycle magazines like American Iron as being very cycle friendly. They've also got free structure parking, with a designated cycle area. We haven't stayed there yet, but it's on our list. It's also quite some distance from the Strip and major hotels. That can be good or bad.
