Default Vegas/Motorcycle safe havens/hotels..

Tis the season to start rolling out to Vegas. I searched for a similar thread and found this one (https://www.hdforums.com/forum/road-...-in-vegas.html) from 2013 but it's old and wanted to see if anyone has any new suggestions on where to stay that bikes are safe? We've always stayed at the Golden Nugget on Fremont and it's been good to us but wanted to see what other options you guys can provide. Thanks ahead of time

I stayed at the Motel 8 just off the strip, parking is outside the rooms in the parking lot, and I could see and hear it from my window. It also had the benefit of being the cheapest room in the area ($20 less than the Motel 6) and included breakfast buffet. There is a 7/11 right next door and it's about a two block to the strip. I also walked around the area at night and never felt unsafe. You might want to put a cover on the bike. Out of site, out of mind. I also have a big orange disc lock that I put on the right side of the front caliper and leave it exposed when I put the cover on.

Don't know your budget or how long you plan to stay. I stay where there is valet parking (its free). They'll let you park your own bike in their valet area, if you hand them a tip. $10 usually does it and its well looked after.

Free parking is over! No free valet and very few free self parking lots left at the major casinos.

Its been a while since I've been there. A lot of things have changed. Vegas isn't what it use to be.

The Mirage has a dedicated area for motorcycles that has steel rails and posts you can chain up to. A cover is a good idea, if you have room to carry it.

With all due respect, the combination of Motel 8 (or 6) plus a nearby 7-11 sounds like the worst combination possible for bike safety. The cover and disc lock are your friends, the motel and 7-11 are not.

Golden Nugget or El Cortez are both ok but last time I went through in April I stayed at the Fiesta in Henderson, it's only a 5 min ride or Taxi to the strip and the motorcycle parking was first rate and is watched by security in their parking structure and the rooms at the Fiesta are not only nicer than just about any hotel room you'll find downtown but they're about half the price, I think I paid 65.00 including the amazing and spectacular resort fee, though it was a Thursday and I'm sure the price goes up on weekends but it's really a very nice place for the money and I had no worries about my Dyna being parked there.

Too F'in hot to ride here!
Golden Nugget/El Cortez and others are on Fremont Street (original vegas), big strip casinos are on LV Blvd (charge for cars, not sure about bikes but likely) , Fiesta and Station Casinos are off strip but not far from. All are enjoyable it just depends on your interest.
A few years ago 'D-bags' were going through the garages stealing hard bags but haven't heard of any recent. We've never had a problem anywhere when there for a dinner/show or overnight.
Yes Vallet will usually direct to safe bike parking
