Yellowstone to Cody

Just rode all of the roads around Yellowstone last month. Camped in West Yellowstone and rode to Jackson, Cody, Red Lodge. The roads were amazing. We were there 10 days and put almost 1500 miles on the bike. The weather was perfect and the animals stayed out of the way. What a great time. I wish everyone could get a chance to ride out there at least once.

So many good rides around and in the park. I really like to ride from Cody to the east entrance and ride out the north east entrance. Stop in Cooke city for gas and then ride over Beartooth pass to Red Lodge. Eat in Red Lodge and ride back over the pass then turn left before you get back in Cooke City and ride Chief Joseph HWY on the way back into Cody.
I also like riding thru the park down to Jackson and seeing the Tetons.

Ride in that area every year and love it! We do our best to avoid Yellowstone Park. Too many RVs and way too much traffic. But east of Yellowstone is some of the best riding anywhere. Beartooth hwy 212, Chief Joseph hwy 296 into Cody and hwys 14/14A and 16 in the Bighorn Mountains are spectacular!
