Wife has been riding with me since 09. I went back to riding in 08. On any road trip it's not just about my comfort but here as well. One of the big ones is stopping about once a hour. If we're on a long trip trying to get from point A to B that really helps. I start asking how she is doing several times during the ride. It is supposed to be fun! My job is to make sure it is

My wife an I have covered North America from coast to coast since my retirement in 2015. She is my Navigator, Photographer and Therapist. We start with determining a final destination, then our daily route is determined by the weather, type of roadway, attractions and finally accommodations for the evening. As stated previously, time is more of a factor than miles. We usually try to saddle no more than an hour and a half, but that can be shortened/lengthened depending weather or terrain. My wife never complains, but I can tell when she is ready for a break. The adage, "Happy wife, happy life" is particularly true when spending many days not more than 6" apart from one another.
