Default Riding in Northern Georgia

Group of us are thinking about a trip to Northern Georgia riding next summer. Looking for suggestions for places to stay and good places to eat. Wouldn't mind having a central location and doing day rides if there are enough roads to ride. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also some good roads to explore!!! Thanks!!!

We stayed at bald mountain campground in a toy hauler back in July in hiawassee ga, plenty of great roads to ride between hiawassee and gatlinburg, we just headed out every morning and rode about 250 miles a day, you can do the dragon, cherohala skyway, the gauntlet, land of the waterfalls loop, wheels thru time motorcycle museum in Maggie valley, we did all these, great scenery everywhere and friendly people, a must do if you've never been, we stayed for a week and will going back next July

Good roads in and around Helen, Blue Ridge and Elijay.

Great roads are just a few miles north around Robbinsville, Franklin.

High Valley cabins in Suches has some nice cabins for rent with room for quite a few people. Bring your own food unless you can live on Hunts Bros Pizza at the general store. Plus they are on Wolf Pen Gap Rd, which is a bit of a challenge. Rte 60 is a fun ride that will bring you up near Tellico Plains & the Cherohala Skyway, which in turn brings you near The Dragon. Super restaurant in Dahlonega that I think is run by the college there in town. As someone mentioned, Helen and Blue Ridge are worth exploring. Cool towns.
