Seattle to SF
Alright, starting to plan a trip to do the Pacific coast.
Fly to Seattle, rent bikes and head across Puget Sound and down the coast for a couple of weeks.
I am sure there are many posts that would be useful in planning, but, if you have any suggestions let me know.
Probably late June to mid July.

Love that ride. If you go to Post #40 of “The Journeys Of Darla” you can see it all the way from Port Angeles to San Fransisco. Your heading the right way. South. The view is to your right and the pull outs are on Ocean Side.
Plan to spend a few days in Crescent city and take some walking shoes so you can walk amongst the giants.
Rent a dune buggy in Florence and enjoy the Sand Dunes.
Plan to be done by 2/3 every day. Enjoy the seafood restaurants.
I have posted about North and South trips on the coast. I would suggest reading Both directions as I put different things in both.

Hit route 101 up on the tip of the Olympic peninsula and just follow it south, expect to get wet a bit but it's an absolutely awesome ride. Some the best roads and scenery to be had on the west coast. Many small towns and lots to see & do take you time and don't bother with daily deadlines.
Poster above pretty well pegged it.
