If you’re returning to the US through the same area you’re entering Canada, maybe an FFL along the way could keep it. Probably wouldn’t charge you much.

There is a little resort town call St Mary’s @ Going to the sun road and hwy 89.

A couple of options: we may be able to store something at the Outfitters shop in town, or we could rent a motel for the night and download stuff.

Half joking, we even discussed putting up a small tent in their camping area and downloading gear overnight. I actually do not hate that idea - i have never had any problems in a well maintain tent and RV center. We would likely download at about noon and be back to pick everything up by 10am the next day.

Or, as I said, we could just leave the guns at home.

(I would rather not go through the hassle of bringing them into Canada)

Check out the Red Eagle motel. We stayed there in August and had no issues, The restaurant on site serves from scratch home made food which was amazing!
The place is a bit dated and others have stated in various on line reviews, but the view is amazing and cost pretty cheap compared to other places in the area.

Good luck

You can't take guns into Canada so leave them at home.

No hassle to go through. Just flat can’t bring handguns into Canada. Works the same for residents of other countries wanting to bring their handguns across our border.
