Where have you been on your Harley?

Reading all of the previous posts and looking at the pics really brought back a lot of memories of the nearly 50 years that I've been riding.
I didn't really take a "for real" trip until 1974 when I went to a destination that I had always wanted to travel to, Nashville, TN.
A little over 500 miles for me and I was riding a (cough, cough) Honda 750-4 and I can still remember the lights of the city as I got closer.
After 1975, most of my touring has been done on a dozen or so H-D's and that's the way it will remain.
For me, touring is about meeting people, seeing different cities, mountains, oceans and lakes and for a person born and raised in the mid-west. seeing the outline of the Rocky Mountains, the early morning or late evening fog of the Smokey Mountains, the northern coastline of the Atlantic Ocean, or the glow of the city lights as you approach Las Vegas from he desert are sights that I'll never forget.
Crossing the Golden Gate, the Tampa Bay or even the Mighty Mac Bridges are memories that I will retain until the end, but I seriously think one of the most surreal sights that I've seen in person (after seeing it for years on TV) was Mt. St. Helens in 2000. The vastness and the bareness of such a large area could not be captured on any TV (regardless of the size).
The PLAN... for the 2019 riding season is to do a "re-visit" of Nova Scotia, then on to Newfoundland and the looping back through PEI.
Hoping that my wife will be able to fly out and meet up with me for part of the trip but we need to schedule he vacation time wisely until she retires
Let's see how things work out!
