#21
OH MY GOD !!!!!! Does anyone read the original post....this thread is going left/right and nowhere.......the OP wants a route to Sturgis from Central Mass.....who cares where to stop and enjoy the sights.....he has limited days to visit Sturgis......give him your opinion on the roads either to take or avoid.......it just baffles me that people are lazy and not read the original question.......

I 90 will be the better maintained road but it is boring. Basically straight but there are "Rest Areas" and the Troopers won`t bother you if you keep it at 75 or under. Also make sure everyone has a EZPASS. It will make a big difference at the exits and they don`t cost anything to get.
I was going 70 in a 55 construction zone.
He forgave the speeding ticket, which would have been about $600, but had to give me a citation for a can helmet.

I have taken both route 80 and route 90 many times. 90 is a much better road. From Central MA you can easily make either Erie PA or north east Ohio in a day. In addition, if your next stop is Chicago, Erie & North East OH would be about half way between central MA & Chicago. There are reasonably priced hotels in Ohio around the route 90/45 and 90/534 exits.
As someone else said get an EZ pass. It will save a lot of time by not having to stop at the toll booths.
