I would give myself at least on full day to tour the National Park. You can only ride a small portion of it, you need to take the Park bus into the park. Still worth the time.

Which direction you are coming from might dictate other suggestions.

If coming South from SLC, come down on 89 and take a detour to Bryce Canyon and/or Cedar Breaks.

See ALL that you have time and money to explore. You won't regret it!
We've been there several times (it's one of my wife's favorite trips) but we think late-March into early-September is the best time to do it on bike because of the milder temps.

Take the shuttle all the way up Zion Canyon and hike up into the narrows. You'll come to a point where you leave the paved trail and hike up through the river. Do that. It is wonderful. There were some little kids there when I went. They had been to Disneyland a couple of days before. I asked them which was better. One said, "It's a tie." The other said, "No. This is better!"

If you have the time and the nerve for heights, do the Angel's Landing hike. The wow factor is off the charts.

We're headed there June 23rd via Reno and Hwy 50. Getting excited, hope the fires hold off for awhile.
