Actually, mission accomplished when I left the photo of my riding buddy Mark Christian Barber on the sign. He was the only friend that said he would ride with me up here. A Toyota took him out. A good man, way to young, but he did the trip anyway. I will try to make sure his daughters know he made the ride.
My bikes used to look like that on a road trip then in the early 90's I discovered trailers. Haven't looked back since.
You can carry anything you want and still have a clean bike. Also a lot quicker to unpack and pack back up. Just toss it back in the trailer and head out.
