OP, Are you still coming this way? I live in ABQ, NM. Wondering if we could meet somewhere. That southern route should be nice. I was just in TorC a couple weeks ago, and took the route west to Silver City. They just re-paved that stretch, and were finishing the re-striping as we were going through, and it's REALLY nice!! Great twists and turns, and beautiful scenery all around. I've heard about the Coronado Trail in AZ, and it's supposed to be better than the Tail of the Dragon, though I haven't personally been on it.
