Default Day Trip - Flight 93 Memorial

Put about 300 miles on the Road Glide today...rode out to the Flight 93 Memorial in SW Pennsylvania. Lots of pretty country out that way...the best road was PA 26 south of Everett, PA.

Above is the Tower of Voices at the site...it’s essentially a giant set of wind chimes...

We've been going for several years. They've made a LOT of improvements since the beginning.

Man...Tower of Voices. Such a touching memorial. I’ve been swearing for years to ride back east to that site in order to pay my respects. Thanks for posting this.

When I got there, the Tower seemed to be undergoing maintenance, as the chimes were tied and silent. However. When I went looking for a video on YouTube (
) it seems it’s still being built...supposed to open next month.

will definitely have to go back...the ride was great and the Memorial is very moving.

It would be more than a day trip for me, but I would love to go. The news showed it being opened in Sept.

Yep opened last month, been up there several times. Just a great area to ride, the chimes are not complete yet. If I remember correctly when it opened only 7or8 were done. When finished one for each lost.

When did you get the Road Glide? Did you trade the SuperGlide?
