July 17
My favorite road of the trip, 99 from Pemberton to Cashe Creek. We stopped in Lilooet for lunch at Reynolds.

 

July 18
We stayed 2 nights in Cashe Creek at Brookside Campsite and breakfasted at Bears Claw Lodge. Both places get a big thumbs up.




We ran down the trans Canada Hwy to Hope, with a stop at Hells Gate and had lunch at Rollys

 

 

We ate at The Copper Coil Still & Grill, good food. Also swam and kayaked at Alice Lake Provincial Park.
It was our one down day for the whole trip. Three weeks it wasn't near enough time would have liked to have been able to take time and see more.
You live in a great riding area.

July 19
Rode the Trans Canada over to Kamloops to see if the Harley dealer could fit us in for an oil change. No luck so took 97 down to Vernon and back up 97A with a stop at the Branding Iron Pub. Ending at Revelstoke Campground.

 

July 20
As much as we wanted to explore the area Darlene was flying out at 9 pm. So we packed up and took the Trans Canada Hwy back to Calgary with a stop in Lake Louise and Banff.






Any idea what this is?


Lake Louise, nice to be on bikes as we got to park closer because they directed us into full lots to park on the end of rows.

 

I am in battle to survive health condition. I long for an opportunity to tour western US, BC, NWT and Alaska. Posts like these give me something to shoot for....thanks to all that post your tour pictures.

 

So sorry to hear about your poor health but glad you are enjoying the trip report.
