I do too! My brother lives just north of Dallas,I don't even like driving my truck through there.We're gonna bypass Houston too,another place I don't like driving through although I've done it on the bike several times.Big cities anywhere I try to avoid.

Speaking of Texas BBQ -- if you ride through Childress, TX there's a place there called Top Notch Texas BBQ. I stopped in there on the way home from Jacksonville a couple of years ago. It really was top notch.

Thats where we're supposed to stay the first night,might have to check that out.

Jacob's Trading Post at the "Y" on the way to the North Rim used to (last visit was in '09) have some darn good pancakes!
