Default 2019 Planned Long Rides

What are you planning for 2019?

From location to location?
Is it a straightest route type or is a whimsical see were the road takes you kinda trip?
Are you riding by yourself or with a group (size of the group)?
Preparations to the bike?
Pre-planning or off the cuff?
Minimum miles you expect to cover on this trip?
Camping or Hotel?
Must have equipment?
Why?
Sites you are for sure going to see?

I will go first (unless someone is faster at responding).

From location to location? Everett WA. to Minot ND. to San Antonio, TX. then back to Everett
Is it a straightest route type or is a whimsical see were the road takes you kinda trip? First leg straight route after that all bets are off (whimsical)
Are you riding by yourself or with a group (size of the group)? Small group, 3 of us
Preparations to the bike? 10,000 service, tires, and of course some other new stuff.
Pre-planning or off the cuff? only planned portion in the destinations (one of the guys is visiting people) the other two of us are long for the ride
Minimum miles you expect to cover on this trip? Google maps put it at 4,878 miles (minimum).
Camping or Hotel? Hotel, I figure the bike is going to have enough stuff loaded in it & I am not getting any younger. My idea of camping is a camper (at the very least).
Must have equipment? basic tool kit, flat repair (hope to never us it) cell phone. Cooler, camera, blue tooth music, ...
Why? Riding buddies are going on a trip, I was invited, and any excuse to go on a bike trip is a good one.

Forgot to add (will make the change): Sites you are for sure going to see? The Gulf of Mexico (I have never seen it) If we have the time and the guys are open to it I would love to see some of the other sites (Rushmore, Devils tower, the list goes on).

In early July, I rented an FLHTK. San Fran to Eureka, then Nappa Valley to Yosemite. Hotels all the way. 2-up. Hotel in San Fran & Yosemite booked. The rest is winging it. Just me & little woman.

Ours is Badlands, Black Hills and Yellowstone. Starting Labor Day weekend.
Largo, Florida is the start.
Not sure if I'm riding, trailing or shipping the bike to Rapid City where my GF will flying into. Time is our issue.
Once she's on the back we'll have about 7-10 days.
Will be ho-telling
Sites we must see are,

Badlands/Black Hills area including Rushmore, Devils Tower, Crazy Horse.
Yellowstone,
Beartooth Pass,
Jackson Hole.

Flying into Mesa(bike stored there) riding over toYuma to work on my chiclets, back to Bisbee and then riding up 666. From there I will do a selfie at 4 corners. If weather permits I will do Bryce, Zion and up to Sturgis. From there I will wander east until I get home in Ontario Canada. Will go where the good weather takes me- so no firm route.
Solo ride
Packing a tent but you know how that goes
Middle of May and have to be home by the 15th of June
Riding. a ‘14 road king

Slab to SLC from PA, then Bear Lake, Craters, Hells Canyon, Lolo Pass, Glacier, Red Lodge, Beartooth, Yellowstone, Tetons, SLC and slab back to PA.

Semi whimsical, semi structured.

Wife’s idea of camping is chain motel.

Bike gets new tires and a wash.

Must bring chargers for phones and headsets, tunes on the Garmin.

Will for sure see inside of a laundromat.
