Michigan trip
Any other Michiganders here who have experience with traveling the west side of the state from about South Haven up to TC? Been looking at maps and there does not appear to be a road that runs along the lake all the way up. We have a few friends who want to travel that (and seems i'm stuck planning!) do not like riding highways. So it's main two lane all the way (I like those anyhow!) Any suggestions out there for some decent roads up the sunset side???

From Holland North, 31 is a good road. Get past Petoskey and jump on m119 (tunnel of trees)at the end is Leggs Inn restaurant. Pretty cool place. Beautiful country on west side. We went all the way around Michigan hugging the lakes. East side is great also. Very quiet.

Make the trip up to North point on peninsula. Good times.

Highway 31 is about the closest you'll get to a road along the lake. I did it a couple years ago on a solo trip around Lake Michigan from Oshkosh, Wi. It was beautiful!

I’m also looking for something to do in Michigan. I’m here for the tulip festival and riding with some neat thing to see
