Really enjoyed the thread ..... I love the high desert.

Here’s a couple of those roads that you mention that crisscrossing Hwy 50.... #278 & #376 These where shot shot a couple of years ago on my way South

I cut out an hour by taking the Mormon Immigrant to Silver Lake. A stop at Monitor Pass before heading to Lee Vinning. Hwy 6 cuts out a lot of miles but may not be as lonely as Hwy 50.
